@Green Building Planning, Design and Consulting

Our services include planning, design and consulting for environmentally-friendly buildings or "sustainable buildings and development." We aim to create buildings that reduce total energy consumption by utilizing natural energy as much as possible, are economically effective, and improve occupants' comfort.

  1. Use natural resources effectively and utilize alternative energy sources.
  2. Use harmless, locally-sourced building materials.
  3. Recycle and use recycled materials.
  4. Improve human health (both the occupants and builders) by conducting appropriate site selection and use.
  5. Realize positive economic effects during construction and operation by creating greater comfort which enhances productivity.

@Green Commissioning

"Building Commissioning" is a process of ensuring that the building and its systems function according to the design intent and the occupants' operational needs, and "Green Commissioning" is to conduct such a process from the perspective of environmental responsibility.
@
Precisely, it is a step to optimize operational performance, and we evaluate the building as the owner to make sure the building is environmentally-friendly and is used according to the design intent after the completion before the delivery of the building. This step ensures that the building offers a comfortable and healthy living environment as well as economic benefit after occupancy for the long term.

Green Commissioning benefits the environment and society as well as owners and occupants by checking and evaluating how the operation of the building actually affects the natural and living environment.

@Green Building Guidelines

@The most important point for a green building is that it is planned and designed in harmony with the region's natural conditions, microclimate, and historical and cultural background. Therefore, even within Japan, the set of items that should be taken into account in designing environmentally friendly buildings and the importance of those items will vary depending on the location and region.
For example, green roofs are more effective in urban areas than in rural areas. Water will be a more important issue for regions with water shortage than for regions with abundant water resources.

We start from carefully studying and analyzing the regional natural conditions and historical and cultural background, and then develop the most appropriate "green building guidelines" for the region.
